Giving Back to the Community

At MRA Search, we’re excited to promote the work of several charitable organizations, and support their efforts with donations of time, services and/or money. Two organizations we are particularly excited about are Hire Heroes USA and Kicking for Kids.

Hire Heroes USA

Each year the military discharges 270,000 service members. 80% won’t have a job lined up. And the unemployment rate of military spouses is four times greater than the national average. Employment assistance is the #1 requested service from transitioning military members.

Hire Heroes USA helps thousands who have served connect with new careers, free of charge. Through personalized service and support, they help military members, veterans, and military spouses get hired — and help companies hire and retain them. To date, Hire Heroes USA has helped more than 35,000 veterans and military spouses get hired since they started.

Kicking for Kids

Kicking for Kids is a nonprofit 501(c)3 associated with North Metro Martial Arts in Atlanta, GA. They offer scholarships to homeless, special-needs, and at-risk kids ages 4+ for participation in an after-school program using martial arts to instill self-confidence, better decisionmaking, accountability, and responsibility — while boosting their ability to communicate with others.

Kicking for Kids has partnered with local schoools to measure the effects of their program, and the results are stunning: A 40% increase in reading inventory scores, and a 100% decrease in reported behavioral referrals for these kids in 2018-19.

Stop Soldier Suicide

Veterans are at 50% higher risk of suicide than their peers who have not served. Stop Soldier Suicide is an organization that provides safe, confidential care that saves lives. Whether it’s mental health support, housing assistance, or any other service, we work tirelessly to find the right and most effective tools.

ASPCA

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals^® (ASPCA^®) was the first humane society to be established in North America and is, today, one of the largest in the world. The ASPCA is a privately funded 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and is proud to boast more than 2 million supporters across the country. MRA Search is proud to be one of them.
